This 3-Ingredient Drink Helped Clear My Acne Due To A Leaky Gut

Korean pear and Brazilian ginger

Korean pear and Brazilian ginger

This Recipe Was Given To Me...

… by my grandmaster who took a look at my face and noticed an acne flare-up. I still can’t pinpoint what I had eaten so frequently to cause such a build-up in bad bacteria and a leaky gut, but it has been doing a number on my skin. He recommended, along with other things, to have half of this drink hot before breakfast, lunch, and dinner for a little over 10 consecutive days; and to eat this Korean Radish Soup as a side for every meal as well. I saw my skin clear up right away after (TMI alert) flushing everything out (I was fighting the toilet). I also used it as a face mask, applying it to a paper-towel or a dry-face mask before bed (25 minutes) and applied Vitamin E oil afterwards, which is SUCH an underrated oil for your skin.

Total Time: Around 30 minutes

TIPS / FAQs

  • Like all things health and wellness, drinking it consistently is key. I drink this every morning since I’ve learned about it. I make a big batch for the week and re-heat before a meal.

  • You can use it as a face mask too. I use a dry paper-towel or a dry face mask. Place the dry mask in a small bowl, pour the drink over it, and put on face for 5 minutes. Then, pour the drink over it again and place for 10 minutes. Then one last time for 10 minutes (total 25 minutes).

  • The brown sugar is added for energy.

  • I drink it on an empty stomach before a meal because that’s what I’ve learned is best, and cold drinks aren’t great for your gut health.

  • The steel steamer and mug can be found here (*affiliate link) — you don’t need the steamer, but it makes it easier.

As always, consult your doctor/healer for what’s best for you and your needs. I’m not a professional, but a gworl who struggles with constipation, food sensitivities, and gut issues like MANY Americans.
