The All-Natural, Vegan Skincare Company You Need to Try

Did you know the luxury skincare brands you depend on to erase dark circles, smooth out wrinkles and clear your skin most likely contain toxic ingredients? Which in the long run, will do just the opposite of what it's designed to do.

Just as it's important to pay attention to what enters your body through your diet, it's just as critical to monitor what enters your body through your skin.

That's why I wanted to bring to your attention this magical skincare company, founded by Priscilla Tsai. She only uses 5 ingredients or less in all of her skincare products (not the 'The Colors' makeup line, which is still very natural). And none of them are toxic. All of the ingredients are also USDA Organic, Fair-Trade Certified, Non-GMO, and Vegan.

Below are the products I've tried and mixed into my skincare routine:

1. Facial Repair Serum

This serum brightened my sister's skin as early as the next day. It only contains 3 ingredients — coconut oil, avocado oil, and rosehip oil. Although it states that it's for AM or PM use, I recommend using this to sleep, as the oils can get a bit overwhelming.

2. Chlorophyll Mask

This mask comes in powder form, which speaks to how Cocokind aims to keep all their products preservative-free. When products come in some type of liquid form, it runs the risk of growing bacteria. That's why companies put in toxic preservatives to fight those bacteria. Unfortunately, those preservatives are just as bad for our health. For this chlorophyll mask, you add the water in yourself, which makes it all the more interesting.

3. MyMatcha Stick

You know when you're so unbelievably dry during the winter months that a simple chapstick isn't enough? Around your mouth, your hands, your lips — everything is chapped. I love this matcha stick because its intended use is to moisturize all-over. It also helps fights free radicals and alleviate your dark circles.

There are so many more products I use daily. They're all displayed below, so if you have any questions about them, feel free to leave a comment!
