Decorating My Room on a Budget

A simple photo with so many details. My favorite has got to be the 31 Bits sun mirror my friends gifted me for my 21st. Beautiful ethically made jewelry and home goods.

Curtains and rod from IKEA I hope to use in my next home or pass down to underclassmen. PS — I know IKEA isn't the most ethical store for home, but I'm trying to find that balance of saving my wallet and decorating to my heart's content. I hope to pass down a bunch of all this furniture and extend the life of it to eliminate waste.

Straw Bag from Abacá Store

Mini Eco Tote also from Abacá Store.

Love seeing my rack slowly change to be wholly ethical. Hand-me-down rack from IKEA. Cute little succulent stump from a farmer's market.

My most unethical purchase from Target (but am so in love with) — the gold round mirror. This is a great alternative from UNICEF Market (that I couldn't afford).

Beauty favs and a lot going on here. Want to point out Australian company and leader in sustainability, Country Road. Beautiful home, work, accessory items I would describe as elevated and chic.

Two desks from a graduated friend, yet again from IKEA. One for work and one as a vanity.

Love these little details. I think shelves are a great way to elevate your wall without making it look cluttered. Mini succulent pot holder from Ecoforms. Vintage vase from recycled online shop, SHOPIDYL
